Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT) in Bozeman, Montana
If you looking for deeper, more lasting mental health counseling support for depression, anxiety, grief or trauma…
At Sub Rosa Therapy, we offer a unique form of psychotherapy called Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT) — a structured, research-informed treatment that combines counseling with psychedelic medicine to support meaningful change. KAT is offered only when clinically appropriate and always grounded in strong therapist relationships that support integration of expanded state experiences.
What is Ketamine-Assisted Therapy?
KAT is not a quick fix. It’s therapy enhanced by expanded states of consciousness and integrated into life through therapy.
Ketamine is a legal psychedelic with fast-acting antidepressant effects. When used in conjunction with therapy, it can reduce mental rigidity, soften defenses, and bring deeper emotional truths to the surface — all within a safe, therapeutic relationship with a skilled mental health therapist.
At Sub Rosa, mental health counseling remains central. Ketamine is a supportive tool, not a standalone treatment. Sub Rosa Therapy offers both individual or group pathways to healing.
Who Is KAT For?
KAT may help if you're experiencing:
Depression or anxiety
Trauma or PTSD
Grief, numbness, or shame
Recovery from addiction
Obsessive or rigid thinking
Emotional stuckness or spiritual crisis
Group KAT & Individual KAT
At Sub Rosa Therapy, we offer both individual and group KAT sessions—each designed to support your healing journey in unique ways.
Individual KAT may be best for those seeking a deeply personalized experience, tailored to their specific therapeutic goals, emotional process, and pace of integration. One-on-one sessions allow for more focused attention from your facilitator and space to explore your inner landscape in a private, intentional setting.
Why Choose a Group KAT Experience?
