Steps for New Clients

Step 1

A medical evaluation and psychological testing are provided to ensure the appropriateness of Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT) for clients.

Step 2

If KAT is deemed clinically beneficial, as many preparation sessions as needed are provided to establish a strong, safe, and therapeutic relationship between client and therapist. Collaboration with client’s existing therapist is required.

Step 3

The middle phase of sessions is a combination of KAT sessions (3-hour sessions with ketamine administration) and integration sessions (60-min counseling sessions that help clients consolidate and integrate insights in ways that contribute to making healthy changes).

Step 4

After completing a series of one to eight KAT sessions interspersed with integration sessions, there is a conclusion session. The conclusion integration session provides closure for the series.
